The midweek clash between Brewers and Morecambe is available to under 16s, for only £1 admission
Under 16s will be granted admission for just £1 when Burton Albion host Morecambe this coming Tuesday, 26th February; 7:45pm kick off.
With the Brewers’ promotion challenge gathering pace, Tuesday’s contest against Morecambe is the second home match in four days, and the club is calling for the community to show their support for Gary Rowett’s promotion-challengers.
'Under 16s will be able to take advantage of the initiative providing they are accompanied by an adult; including Season Ticket holders and OAPs. '
Burton Albion Manager Gary Rowett commented: ‘The initiative is a very positive move from the club and I hope as many young Brewers fans as possible will be able to take advantage.
‘Our home form has been a major factor in our success this season and it goes without saying that the support we receive in the stands is very important; our fans will certainly have a big part to play at the Pirelli from now to the end of the season.’
Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson added: ‘With the Morecambe game coming just three days after Exeter as well as being on a Tuesday evening, we’re keen to make the match as accessible as possible to our supporters.
‘By charging just £1 for juniors, we hope to see additional support on Tuesday, which will undoubtedly give the players a boost during a hectic but vitally important fixture schedule.’
