Brewers goal nominated for Goal Of The Year
Calvin Zola's stunning strike against Oxford United earlier this season has made the shortlist for the Mitre Goal Of The Year Award.
Every Football League Club was asked to nominate their goal of the season and Calvin's excellent goal that saw him control Jacques Maghoma's ball forward before turning and volleying the ball into the back of the net has made it through to the final ten goals which are now open to a public vote on the Sky Sports website. All the goals from those that were submitted were evaluated on Soccer AM this morning before the final top ten selected goals were put forward.
The top ten will be whittled down to the final five ahead of the Football League Awards night on 24th March when attendees on the evening will choose the eventual winning goal.
All Burton Albion fans are urged to vote to help Calvin's goal make the final five. Voting remains open for the next two weeks.......get voting!!!!!
