Anthony O'Connor Set to Stay at Pirelli
Brewers boss Gary Rowett is close to finalising a deal with Blackburn Rovers which will see Anthony O'Connor remain on loan at the Pirelli Stadium until the end of the season. O'Connor's deal at Burton Albion currently runs until after the Torquay home fixture on January 12th.Rowett said, 'Anthony has come in this season and performed really well, he's been one of the mainstays in the team over the first half of the season. Playing senior football is obviously a huge factor in his development and we've been speaking to Blackburn and we're close to finalising a deal to keep him with us until the end of the season.'
O'Connor has been a virtual ever present for Burton Albion this season, making 26 league and five cup appearances so far.
