Adam Drury to Join on One Month Loan
Burton Albion are set to sign 19 year old Man City winger Adam Drury on a one month loan deal.Â
Adam is a pacey right-footed player who has been played at full-back and wing-back so far this season, though he describes himself as an out and out winger.
Drury is originally from Grimsby and signed at City from Grimsby Town as a 13-year old and has been very impressive for Attilio Lombardo’s Elite Development Squad in recent months, most notably in the recent 1-1 draw with Fulham where he was one of City’s most prominent threats.
He signed on at City as a first-year scholar in September 2011 and has made 10 appearances in the Barclays U21 Premier League this season and has played five times in the NextGen Series against the likes of Juventus, Fenerbahce and PSG.
Subject to the confirmation of paperwork Drury will be eligible for Saturday’s FA Cup match at Leicester City.
