Blackburn loanee stays until season end
Burton Albion are pleased to confirm the extension of the loan deal for Anthony O’Connor which will see the Blackburn Rovers defender stay at the Pirelli Stadium until the end of the season.
O’Connor has been a virtual ever present in the side this season at right back since joining in August.
Brewers manager Gary Rowett said, ‘Anthony has come in and made a big impact and we are delighted to have him with us now until the end of the season. I think the main thing for Anthony has been to make sure he is playing regular football and you can see how much he has developed so far this season.’
