BACT set for Summer Programme

9 July 2013

The Burton Albion Community Trust’s popular Summer Programme is set to spring into action this month in Uttoxeter and beyond; with enthusiasm and demand for the courses high.

The Trust’s community activities will go into overdrive this summer with a wide variety of activities catering for all demographics; from the 0-5 Dance and Movement classes to the Golden Goal Over 50s programme.

At the heart of the numerous activities over the summer months lie the Summer Football Camps, giving youngsters aged between 5-13 years old the ideal opportunity to enhance their skills, meet new friends and take in great experiences along the way; all in a relaxed and safe environment.

From the fun coaching programme for Baby Brewers (3-4 years old) to the Premier League Experience (5-13 years old) which combines coaching with the opportunity to visit a top Premiership football Ground; the Community Trust will have it covered throughout the months of July and August.

Baby Brewers sessions are daily courses with the primary aim of developing fundamental movement patterns through football and multi-skills activities.

The Premier League Experience programmes run for a week with great coaching and the incorporation of a football ground tour to the likes of Old Trafford, the Etihad Stadium, Anfield and Burton Albion’s very own Pirelli Stadium.

If that wasn’t already enough, the Trust’s qualified coaches will be joined by a Brewers legend – Aaron Webster – who will be passing on his vast experience in a coaching and ambassadorial capacity; having enjoyed a 15 year career with Burton that took in 589 matches.

Both courses will run five different dates and represent great variety and value for money; with discounts available if booked in advance.

The first set of courses run from 22nd to 26th July at Shobnall Leisure Complex, Burton, and Windsor Park C of E Middle School, Uttoxeter.

To book places on either of these two courses or indeed any of the comprehensive list of programmes being run by the Trust this summer, call 01283 565938, email bactadmin@burtonalbionfc.co.uk or visit www.burtonalbioncommunitytrust.co.uk.
