Fans to choose matchday programme title

16 July 2013

Burton Albion are calling on supporters to determine the name of the 2013/14 matchday publication; with a little help from Brewers’ boss Gary Rowett!

The Brewers’ matchday programme is already highly-rated having been awarded fifth place in the Programme Awards for Football League 2 last season; however this season the publication aims to be even better.

As well as a variety of new features, a revamp will see a return to the standard sized football programme whilst there will also be an increase from 64 to 68 pages per edition.

With the programme ultimately produced for the fans, the club has made the decision to ask for supporters’ help in naming the programme with all ideas considered.

The deadline for submission is 12pm on Monday, 29th July at which point a shortlist of the top five entries will be drawn before a winner is chosen by Gary.

From that point on, the official matchday publication will go by that name for the duration of the forthcoming campaign.

The club will then invite the supporter who provided the chosen programme name to the Pirelli Stadium to meet Gary and have their photo taken.

To register your suggestion, simply email media@burtonalbionfc.co.uk or contact the club via Facebook or Twitter.
