Nuneaton Town v Burton:Preview

15 July 2013

Burton Albion travel to Nuneaton Town on Tuesday evening as the Brewers’ pre-season preparations continue.

The match is the third friendly in seven days for Gary Rowett’s men; following last Tuesday’s trip to Ilkeston FC and Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Alfreton Town.

A number of Burton players got a full 90 minutes under their belt on Saturday in extremely hot conditions at the Impact Arena and the trip to Nuneaton will provide further game time for the squad.

Striker Billy Kee, who has missed the opening two friendlies, could feature for the Brewers having returned to training on Monday.

The contest takes place at Nuneaton’s Triton Showers Community Arena and is a 7:45pm kick-off; with tickets available on the turnstiles priced at £8 adults and concessions with 16s and under £3.

Parking is also available at the ground for away supporters and is priced at £2. The full address of the ground is as follows:

The Triton Showers Community Arena, Liberty Way, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV 11 6RR.

For those unable to attend the match, the Brewers will be covering the action via Facebook and Twitter with a full match report available on the club’s website after the match.

Attentions then turn to Burton Albion’s two home friendlies versus Derby County and Walsall at the Pirelli Stadium next week with tickets now available to purchase; details here.
