Webster to support Holiday Camps

4 July 2013

Brewers legend Aaron Webster is to become an Ambassador for the Burton Albion Community Trust’s Summer Football Camps.

The popular left-back brought the curtain down on a 15-year career with the Brewers at the conclusion of the 2012/13 campaign; having made a total of 589 appearances for the club.

Now Webster is set to continue his association with the club by inspiring and engaging potential Brewers stars of the future; passing on his knowledge during the Trust’s unique Summer Football Camps in a coaching capacity.

Webster commented: ‘I am delighted to be taking on the role of Ambassador for the Burton Albion Community Trust Summer Football Camps Programme.

‘I’ve witnessed first-hand the terrific work undertaken by the Trust and am more than happy to contribute to what is an excellent programme.’

Burton Albion Community Trust Manager Andy Taylor added: ‘During his time at the club, Aaron was always happy to make player appearances and was acutely aware of the great power players can have in the community.

‘To have Aaron on board adds another great dimension to what promises to be an exciting and rewarding summer of Community Trust programmes.
