The seeding for the first round of the Capital One Cup has been revealed; based on the final league positions of teams from the 2012/13 season before being split regionally into north and south sections.
The Brewers are placed in the non-seeded North section and face potentially mouth-watering ties.
Gary Rowett’s men are well accustomed to pitting their wits against higher level opposition; having knocked out npower Championship outfit Leicester City in last year’s competition; courtesy of a superb 4-2 win at the King Power Stadium.
The draw for the first round of the Capital One Cup will take place next Monday and will be announced on the club’s official website at 9:30am.
