Burton Albion midfielder John McGrath will remain at York City until the end of the season after both clubs agreed on an extension to the initial one month loan deal.
McGrath, 32, has impressed at Bootham Crescent; starting all six games since moving to the fellow nPower League 2 outfit on February 12th.
Although the agreement sees the Irishman prolong his stay until the end of the 2012/13 campaign; Burton do have the option of a 24-hour recall if necessary.
