Burton Albion Community Trust will celebrate Adult Learners Week by hosting a small event on Wednesday 22nd May from 12pm-2pm in the Vera Goode Suite at the Pirelli Stadium; home of Burton Albion FC.
The event will promote the short courses on offer that are delivered by the Community Trust’s Education Department in partnership with Burton and South Derbyshire College, and will be part of a national campaign to encourage adults of all ages and abilities into learning.
Courses currently on offer include Silver Surfers (Over 50’s IT beginners classes), Dance/Zumba and Yoga; with places still available for anyone interested.
The afternoon will provide a taste of how learning can be fun and those attending will have the opportunity to sign up for one of our courses.
