Robinson backs supporters
Brewers chairman Ben Robinson is backing the Albion supporters to get behind Gary Rowett’s side this Sunday as Burton welcome Hereford United to the Pirelli Stadium for the first-round of the FA Cup.
With ticket prices reduced for Sunday’s match the Pirelli Stadium is expected to be filled with FA Cup fever as the Brewers look replicate the FA Cup run of 2006 when they earned a replay against Manchester United in the third round after drawing 0-0 at home.
Brewers Chairman, Ben Robinson said: “The FA Cup is a fantastic competition and round one represents the start of endless possibilities in terms of cup draws.
“Burton is a community club and a potential cup run means we could invest further into the community that supports us so well,” he said.
“We managed to draw Manchester United a few years ago and earn a replay and the money that the game generated by the club was put into the development of the stadium which has helped us get to where we are today and also help the community that serves us so well.”
Ticket prices have been reduced specially for Sunday’s FA Cup clash with adult seating tickets reduced to £15 and £12 for over 65s and those aged 17-22. Under 16s can watch Sunday’s big FA Cup tie for £8.
Terraced ticketing is also reduced for Sunday, adult tickets are now ÂŁ12 and over 65s and 17-22 year-olds tickets can be purchased for ÂŁ10 and Under 16s for ÂŁ5.
