Sky Bet League 2 Review

28 October 2013

The battle for promotion is looking increasingly wide open in Sky Bet League 2 with new leaders Oxford cut to 8/1 for the title.

The Us are one of a staggering 16 teams now considered single-figure odds for promotion with the Football League’s title sponsor, as just three points separates first and ninth.

Chesterfield are the current favourites to go up despite dropping down to fourth following a 0-0 draw with Bristol Rovers, while Fleetwood are also odds-on for promotion having won 2-0 against York City.

Rochdale have drifted from 11/8 to 2/1 for promotion after losing 3-1 to Dagenham & Redbridge, while Burton’s odds continue to go in the opposite direction after racking up a third-successive victory.

They have come in from 6/1 to 3/1 to book a place in Sky Bet League 1 since embarking on their winning streak, while Newport, who are also unbeaten in three, are now 5/1 in the promotion betting.
