Media and PR Internship
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director the internship will be for a twelve month period. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree standard and have some experience of writing within a journalistic environment and experience of camera work and video editing.
You must be available to work all matches, both home and away fixtures throughout the season and additional hours as required. A passion for football and an understanding of the game is essential to the role.
Media Marketing and IT Support Internship
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director the internship will be for a twelve month period. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree-level qualification in a computer related subject with experience in providing a supporting role for the media and IT infrastructure. Experience of camera work, video and photo editing is essential.
You must be available to work all matches taking place at the Pirelli Stadium throughout the year and additional hours as required. A passion for football and an understanding of the game is essential to the role.
The work will be varied and the ability to work quickly within deadlines is essential. You must have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for media related issues working as part of a team and have a ‘can do’ attitude’.
Ticket Office Administrator
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director you will be required to provide excellent customer services in supporting the sale of tickets, and match day merchandise.
As first point of contact with supporters and customers you must have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
You must be available to work all match days taking place at The Pirelli Stadium throughout the year and additional hours as required. A passion for football and an understanding of the game is essential to the role.
Chef and Catering Co-ordinator
Duties will include design, cost and deliver an extensive range of menus to accommodate dining requirements for both intimate dining and volume event catering. Â A keen eye to detail and a pride in how food is presented together with excellent customer satisfaction is also an important part of the role.
The suitable candidate must also be supportive to maintaining high levels of hygiene with a keen sense of planning ahead and maintaining first class food and refreshments.  A positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
Cook
Burton Albion provides catering for various events and we are looking to recruit a Cook to assist and support our existing match day catering team.
You will be required to work closely with the Catering department to provide quality and well-presented food and refreshments for match days and other events held at the Pirelli Stadium. You will be responsible for the smooth running of a kiosk including preparation of food, serving meals, snacks and drinks and cleaning down. Burton Albion prides itself on maintaining high standards and you will be expected to share this passion.
