Following much light-hearted debate between supporters, the club can announce that the goal celebration music for the 2013/14 season is…Tom Hark by the Piranhas!
The Brewers received dozens of suggestions for the goal celebration music at the Pirelli ranging from Bohemian Like You, High Ho Silver Lining, We Will Rock You, Chelsea Dagger, Locked Up, Chase the Sun, Just Can’t Get Enough, Born to be Wild and Free, Woo Hoo, Mr Brightside, The Boys are Back in Town and Hot Chocolate’s Everyone’s a Winner.
However by far the most popular suggestion was a return to tried and tested with the Piranhas Tom Hark.
That popular choice was backed up by the Burton Albion players, who received a list of all the suggestions last week.
Captain Lee Bell then confirmed that the players would like the music to return to Tom Hark. Let’s hope it rings out at the Pirelli on a regular basis for the remainder of the 2013/14 campaign!
