Details of Academy Partners

Football First Academy
The Burton Albion Academy has formed a link with Football First Academy for the purposes of player recruitment, development and player pathways in the Midlands area. The agreement sees enhanced player recruitment opportunities between the ages of 4-13. Burton Albion Academy and Football First Academy host a development group for the ages of 5-10 to feed directly into the Academy Foundation Phase.

Burton Albion FC Academy is committed to:
1. Sign-posting players, that show potential, to continue their development with FFA.
2. Offer FFA players, of the required standard, an opportunity to enter the Academy and experience playing against a host of professional clubs on a trial basis.




Mickleover Sports Juniors FC
The Burton Albion Academy has formed a link with Mickleover Sports Juniors FC for the purposes of player recruitment, development and player pathways in the Midlands area. The agreement sees enhanced player recruitment and development opportunities between the ages of 7-18. 
 
Burton Albion FC Academy is committed to:
1. Sign-posting players, that show potential, to continue their development with Mickleover Sports Juniors FC.
2. Offer Mickleover Sports Juniors FC players, of the required standard, an opportunity to enter the Academy and experience playing against a host of professional clubs on a trial basis.

Belper Town Juniors FC
The Burton Albion Academy has formed a link with Belper Town Juniors FC for the purposes of player recruitment, development and player pathways in the Midlands area. The agreement sees enhanced player recruitment and development opportunities between the ages of 7-18. 

Burton Albion FC Academy is committed to:
1. Sign-posting players, that show potential, to continue their development with Belper Town Juniors FC.
2. Offer Belper Town Juniors FC players, of the required standard, an opportunity to enter the Academy and experience playing against a host of professional clubs on a trial basis.

Quorn Juniors FC

The Burton Albion Academy has formed a link with Quorn Juniors FC for the purposes of player recruitment, development and player pathways in the Midlands area. The agreement sees enhanced player recruitment and development opportunities between the ages of 7-18.

2. Offer Quorn Juniors FC players, of the required standard, an opportunity to enter the Academy and experience playing against a host of professional clubs on a trial basis.

Heather St John's Juniors FC
The Burton Albion Academy has formed a link with Heather St John's Juniors FC for the purposes of player recruitment, development and player pathways in the Midlands area. The agreement sees enhanced player recruitment and development opportunities between the ages of 7-18.

1. Sign-posting players, that show potential, to continue their development with Heather St John's Juniors FC
2. Offer Heather St John's Juniors FC players, of the required standard, an opportunity to enter the Academy and experience playing against a host of professional clubs on a trial basis.

We also work closely with Burton Albion Community Trust to ensure that there is a clear pathway from our community programmes to the Academy. This includes links to the player development programme and pro-team coaching.
