Hussey and Diamond enjoy loan successes
Chris Hussey and Zander Diamond were both in League Two action this weekend for Bury and Northampton Town respectively.
Hussey played the full 90 minutes and opened the scoring for The Shakers in their 2-0 victory over Exeter City. After Danny Mayor was brought down by Daniel Coles in the 65th minute, the 25 year-old struck a free-kick beyond Exeter stopper Arthur Krysiak.
Meanwhile, Zander Diamond was also on the winning side as Burton's next opponents Northampton Town took all three points away at Accrington Stanley with a 1-0 victory.Â
The former Scotland U21 international completed the full 90 minutes at The Crown Ground but will be unable to compete this weekend against The Brewers due to the conditions of his loan.
