England Under 19s to play at Pirelli Stadium
Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium has been chosen to play host to the UEFA European Under-19 Championship Elite Round at the end of May.
Along with the Banks’ Stadium, home of Walsall FC, the Pirelli Stadium will feature the England Under-19s squad as they look to qualify for the finals in Hungary in July.
England are top seeds in Group One and will take on Ukraine, Montenegro and Scotland from 24th May through to 29th May under the guidance of coach Noel Blake.
Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson expressed his delight that the Pirelli Stadium had once again been chosen to showcase some of the best young English talent.
“Burton Albion are really honoured to be hosting these prestigious games at the Pirelli Stadium and we thank the Football Association for these games, when we look forward to welcoming some of the best young players from England and Europe.”

24th May – Ukraine v Scotland – Pirelli Stadium, 7.30pm
26th May – Montenegro v. Ukraine – Banks’ Stadium, 3pm
26th May – England v Scotland – Pirelli Stadium, 7.30pm
29th May – Ukraine v England – Pirelli Stadium, 3pm
29th May – Scotland v Montenegro – Banks’ Stadium, 3pm
