Captain Ian Sharps talked to Brewers Player after today's 2-1 win at Mansfield Town.

On Today's Result

"It was difficult. They were playing with the wind and bombarding us with long balls and we had to defend as well as we could.

"They're good at what they do and the big lad Rhead is a handful.

"I thought we handled them reasonably well and they didn't have many on target. We could have broken with the ball a bit better, but we're top of the league so it's not to bad!"

On The Side's Preparation

"We work hard, which is a good solid base to build from and then there were two bits of quality for the goals.

"It's something we work on (counter attacking) and the gaffer has bought in some young lads, so when we break we do it with energy and pace.

"Everyone makes mistakes in the game, but we know we've got to just concentrate on what we do and not worry about the referee or the opposition."

On The Future

"We definitely don't want to rest on our laurels. Maybe the games have caught up on us the last few weeks at a high intensity, but we've only used 18/19 players so far in seven games .

"We're happy that we're unbeaten, but I think there's more to come from us."
