Burton Albion Community Trust have a full time vacancy working as a Community Coach (Schools & Disability) on a fixed term contract until May 31st 2015.
Reporting directly to Community Delivery Manager the post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating the Disability Sports Programme and supporting a high quality school delivery programme across East Staffordshire.
You must be available to work evenings and weekends and any additional hours as required to meet the demands of the Charity. A passion for Disability Football and Community Sport and an understanding of the school sport is essential to the role.
The work will be varied and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines is essential. You must have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for Community Sport, working as part of a team and have a ‘can do’ attitude, good communication skills and be excellent timekeepers.
BACT are also recruiting casual sports coaches with previous experience of delivering in schools.
Due to increased provision we are recruiting lead coaches with experience of delivering within a school setting to deliver within curricular and extracurricular activities. Successful candidates will deliver variety of sports supported by our extensive scheme of work. Successful candidate will also be supported by BACT’s quality assurance programme and continued professional development support structure.
Successful Candidates will work to an agreed timetable offering a consistent structure to their role within the Trust, although a flexible approach is required.
