Winger to stay with Albion until end of the season
Burton Albion is delighted to announce the news that winger Zeli Ismail has extended his loan spell with the club until the end of the season.
Ismail joined the Brewers prior to the Sky Bet League 2 win against Cheltenham Town, a game in which he made his debut and provided two assists for fellow substitute Dominic Knowles.
On Saturday, Ismail who has made five appearances for the Brewers scored the winner in the 1-0 win against Morecambe, his first goal in professional football.
Ismail said: “It is great to be able to extend my loan spell until the end of the season.
“I have really enjoyed my football since I have been here and all the lads and staff have made me feel really welcome.
“To get the winner on Saturday was brilliant and the fans gave me a lot of confidence.
“We’ve now got to concentrate on the final third of the season and win as many games as possible and finish as high as possible.”
