Burton Albion Football Club Academy caters for over 100 young people aged from 9 through to the Full Time Scholars at Under 18 and is currently in the monitoring process of becoming a Category 3 Academy.

Reporting directly to Burton Albion Head of Sport Science and Medicine the post holder will be responsible for the management of injuries, injury prevention, pre-signing medicals, medical consultations and medical provisions at fixtures both home and away.
You must be available to work all matches, both home and away fixtures throughout the season for the 9-18 years games programme and additional hours as required to meet the demands of the department.

A passion for football and an understanding of the game is essential to the role.
The work will be varied and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines is essential.
Â
You must have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for medical issues working as part of a team, have a ‘can do’ attitude. Applicants must have good communication skills, and be excellent timekeepers.
