Hall signs for Brewers

19 March 2014

Goalkeeper joins until end of the season

Burton Albion have completed the signing of goalkeeper Freddy Hall on a contract until the end of the 2013/14 season, subject to paperwork.

The 29-year-old former Northampton goalkeeper had been training with the Brewers for a week before signing a short-term contract with the club.

The Bermuda international’s most recent club was MLS side Toronto FC were he made seven appearances.

Hall has six caps for his country with his debut coming against Trinidad and Tobago in September 2011.

Manager Gary Rowett said: “Freddy has been training with us and he has a good pedigree.

“With Rob Lainton only on loan we need to make sure we have adequate cover in the goalkeeping position.

“It will give us a chance to look at him more long-term, he has played at a good level with Toronto FC and this is a chance for him to make a career in England.”
