SUPPORT CRAIG TUCKER AS HE CYCLES FROM LONDON TO AMSTERDAM

Brewers fan Craig looks for your backing ahead of cycle challenge

Burton Albion supporter Craig Tucker will be cycling from London to Amsterdam on behalf of Prostate Cancer UK as part of the London to Amsterdam Football League Challenge on 8th June.

A keen cyclist, Craig is looking to raise more than £1,000 ahead of the challenge which will see each club in the Football League represented.

The Burton Albion squad have backed Craig as he begins his training for the two day event and posed for a photo prior to Craig beginning his training back in January.

The event has a footballing theme throughout, with the cyclists beginning the challenge at Leyton Orient’s Matchroom Stadium and finishing at Ajax’s Amsterdam Arena.

The 45-year-old father of one has worked to raise money for the bike ride, and is looking for one final push before he starts the challenge in just over two weeks.

Craig said: “It is really great to be a part of and as a Burton Albion fan it is fantastic to represent the club on a charity event such as this.

“It is a cancer that a few of my close friends have had and to be able to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK is brilliant.

“I’ve done a few events before and enjoy cycling so it should be a fun two days.

"With just over two weeks now until I ride to Amsterdam, I'm hoping as many people as possible can give me some support and donate to this great cause."

Collection buckets will be in the club shop to raise money for Craig and Prostate Cancer UK, and you can also donate on his JustGiving page, which can be found below.
