BEN ROBSON GIVES HIS YOUNG FAN'S VIEW

29 October 2014

Hello and welcome to the young fan's view,

I am very sad to hear that Gary Rowett has left the brewers to join one of his ex-clubs, Birmingham City. I am gutted as he has served us so well and we wouldn't be where we are today without him. He has created a platform for us to succeed this season and I wish him the best at his new club.

In Gary's final match, we lost because of an unfortunate own goal by Ian Sharps at Stevenage. The result leaves us on the edge of losing our place in the top three, with Bury and Shrewsbury hot on our heels. Our next match doesn't get any easier, as we face Plymouth Argyle, who sit in sixth and are unbeaten in five. If they beat us, they go above us so it is crucial that we keep focused and get the important win.

As for the new manager, I hope they are experienced at this level and can lead us to promotion this season, but I would also like an ex-player to take the helm. I really would like Darren Stride to be the new manager as he has contributed so much to the Brewers and he would be a real fans' favourite, although he may not have what it takes to manage at this level. Let's see how Mike Whitlow does in caretaker charge first.

Let's hope he starts off with a win......

COME ON YOU BREWERSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
