Burton Albion have signed Blackburn midfielder Darragh Lenihan on a one-month loan deal, subject to paperwork.
The 20 year-old has come through the Blackburn youth team and has been a regular for their development squad since joining from Irish club Belvedere in 2011.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international played 45 minutes against Norway under-21s earlier this month as well as being named as a substitute for senior squad on three occasions.
Lenihan can play in midfield or defence and he’s expected to go straight into the side that’ll face Carlisle this evening.
