CLUB HOLDS SUCCESSFUL FANS FORUM

2 October 2014

Burton Albion held their first Fans’ Forum on Monday 29th September at the Pirelli Stadium, with manager Gary Rowett and Chairman Ben Robinson in attendance.

The night was well attended by supporters, with over 100 people in attendance as they got their chance to put their questions to Rowett and Robinson.

A pie, peas and chips meal was served before a Q&A session with the Chairman and manager, with the evening hosted by Dave Child.

The Q&A lasted almost two hours and the questions asked covered all areas of the club, both on and off the pitch.

Ben Robinson said “Monday night was a fantastic evening was enjoyed by all.

“I believe it’s vitally important for the club and fans to have open communication and nights such as the fans forum are excellent opportunities for this to happen.

“The event was a huge success and I’d like to thank Gary for taking part and giving some excellent answers. There were a wide range of questions for us both and we tried to answer them with as much clarity and thought as possible.

“I’d also like to thank Dave Child for hosting the event and Andy Taylor, who was responsible for making the night run so smoothly.

“We plan to announce the details of our next fan engagement meeting in the next couple of weeks and we encourage all supporters to attend and raise any issues they might have.”

The forum was held in response to the first fan engagement meeting held in July. Details of the next fan engagement meeting will be announced shortly.
