JOHN MOUSINHO: WE CAME OUT SECOND-HALF AND THAT WAS MORE LIKE US

14 September 2014

On The Pleasing Start To The Season:

"I think on paper it is, but there are certainly some improvements we'll be looking to make.

"We won't get too carried away and we were a bit sloppy at the start of the game .

"York came with a game plan and got top of us in the first 10-15 minutes and had a couple of half chances.

"We got together at half-time and I think we came out second-half and that was more like us.

"We're really pleased with the second-half performance and obviously to come away with a clean sheet and three points we're absolutely buzzing."

On Trying To Keep Improving:

"There's certainly a few things we can work on and we'll keep digging in and getting better.

"We really have to be vigilant to not get to carried away with ourselves, but at the same time don't down play it.

"If we dampen it down too much it can go the other way.

"But the way the dressing room is and the way the gaffer is going about things then hopefully we'll have a great balance and keep the run going."

On His Excellent Goal:

"I was just lurking behind Robbie (Weir) and the ball came from a 50-50 and popped up, so I just put my foot through it.

"It was one of those that I just caught nicely and it didn't really go to high and balloon into the crowd like my one in the first-half.

"Obviously it's really pleasing from that point of view, but it's just more important  for us to get that second goal to give us a bit more comfort.

"I think a couple of times with a one goal lead we've been hanging on in the end and when we go 2-0 up and defend properly it's give us that extra cushion."
