Brewers boss up for Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month for August
Burton Albion manager Gary Rowett has been nominated for the League 2 Manager of the Month Award for August.The nomination comes on the back of an impressive August, in which the Brewers earned 13 points from a possible 15 in the opening month of the season.
Rowett is up against three other managers for the award, and the winner will be announced on Friday morning.
The judging panel is chaired by former Football League manager Dave Bassett with Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.

No sign of any Play-Off Final hangover, Rowett is, filling his players with energy and determination, and they picked up 13 points from 15 to sit top of Sky Bet League 2, conceding just three goals.
Mark Yates (Cheltenham Town)
A near perfect month as his side established itself as promotion contenders. Away wins at Bury and Tranmere Rovers were the cornerstones of a 13-point haul from five matches, which included three clean sheets.
