Midfielderhas red card rescinded
Burton Albion can confirm that the red card shown to Robbie Weir in Saturday’s 2-1 win away at Mansfield Town has been rescinded on appeal.
Weir was sent off towards the end of the win a Field Mill for serious foul play, but following a review of the video evidence, The FA have overturned the decision.
The decision also means the three match ban in initially handed out to the midfielder will no longer apply.
