With just two games remaining, the Brewers are trying to maintain their good form, pick up maximum points and go and get the title after promotion was secured.

Irish left-back Damien McCrory told that not only does he want to get promoted, he wants to go on and win the title.

“I suppose you look at it and you just want to go into the game and get three points really.

“Not only did we want to achieve promotion, we want to win the league now.”

How many times per season do we hear ‘We take one game as it comes’? Well nothing changes towards to business end of the season, even for a team that can secure promotion on Saturday with a win against Morecambe.

“Obviously it is important just to go and get the three points and take each game as it comes.

“As I say we have got two games left and we want two wins.”

After Shrewsbury narrowly lost to Bury on Tuesday night and Wycombe failed to pick up all three points on Saturday, it gave Burton Albion the chance to extend their lead at the top of the League 2 table and tighten their grip on the title.

“We are keeping the gap and games are running our so obviously it is going in our favour at the minute and were in good form. It is in our hands.”
