BREWERS STILL WAITING ON ISMAIL INJURY

20 August 2015

JIMMY Floyd Hasselbaink goes into Saturday's game against Peterborough with no new injury worries.

He will still be without winger Zeli Ismail but will have options all over the pitch if he needs fresh legs after Tuesday's win at Blackpool.

Ismail picked up a knee injury in pre-season and the on-loan winger is currently back at his parent club.

Hasselbaink said: "Zeli is still at Wolves, he may be able to come back soon but at the moment he still has a little bit of pain in his knee."

Meanwhile defender Darius Charles is making progress with his comeback to full fitness.

Hasselbaink said: "Darius needs a little bit more time but he is starting running again. We aren’t putting any time scale on it. But we will want give him a good mini pre-season."

Kelvin Maynard who suffered an ACL injury in pre-season will be going for his operation next week.
