LADS EAGER TO CRACK ON AFTER BLACKPOOL VICTORY

21 August 2015

BREWERS midfielder Tom Naylor says the team are eager to crack on after Tuesday’s come from behind victory at Blackpool.

Peterborough are the visitors to the Pirelli on Saturday as Albion look to make it three League One wins out of four played.

Naylor says: “Peterborough are a big side in League One. They have spent quite a lot of money building squads over the last couple of years. We know they are likely to be there or thereabouts and we will give them respect but we will be all guns blazing from the first whistle and will show what we are about.

“We are looking forward to Saturday, especially after Blackpool - when you get a result like that you just want to crack on.

“In the first half we were under the cosh and they scored. We had to correct that and we did.

“The gaffer was disappointed in the way we played at the end of the first half. But overall after the second half he was really pleased.

“We had two bits of brilliance from Nasser. On his day he’s unplayable as he showed us last year. He’s one of the best in the league at what he does. All the lads have confidence in him. He’s a great player. The finish on the first goal was great and the free kick was unbelievable – one of the best I have seen live. He has that in his locker and everyone knows what he is about.”
