BURTON Albion will unveil their first ever League One kit live in front of the Sky TV cameras on Tuesday, August 4.
The new strip has been kept under wraps as League Two Champions Albion enjoy nationwide coverage as Sky presenter Jim White arrives at the Pirelli Stadium by helicopter to be greeted by Brewers manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The Albion boss will be interviewed on the pitch as part of Sky’s 92Live tour before the players run out of the tunnel in their new kit ready to pose for the annual team picture.
The live broadcast is scheduled to take place at 3.15pm.
Burton Albion commercial director Fleur Robinson says: “We are delighted to welcome Sky to the Pirelli and to unveil the new kit live on national television.
“Our fans will also get the chance to see the new strip for the first time and, after the broadcast, replica shirts will be on sale in the club shop.
“We are also delighted that the kit has again been supplied by a Burton firm, TAG Sportswear, a local supplier who is reliable, has the flexibility to produce the unique design we are looking for and within our lead times.
“The home strip sponsor is Baytree Cars, while Anvil Hire will continue to sponsor our away shirt. These deals continue another long standing local association with Burton businessman Rob Brown, who is also a director of the club.”
Replica shirts will be on sale from 3.30pm in the club shop.
