IT has been a busy Christmas for Golden Goals - a Burton Albion Community Trust activity programme for over 50s.
Not only did first team player Anthony O’Connor drop in to answer questions at the Pirelli Stadium group’s Christmas party but the Burton Mail came to a festive session to write a feature about the successful programme.
Golden Goals takes place at the Pirelli Stadium every Wednesday from 10am to noon. The cost is £2 and includes tea and biscuits.
Because of the popularity of the Golden Goals programme, there are now additional sessions at:
Uttoxeter Hermitage Centre on Tuesdays from 10am-11am;
BACT Community Hub on Tuesdays from 10am-noon;
Immanuel Hall, Stapenhill, on Thursdays from 9.30am-11.30am
Tutbury Village Hall, on Thursdays from 10am-noon.
