9 December 2015

BREWERS defender Antony O’Connor dropped into the Golden Goal Christmas Party at the Pirelli Stadium to answer questions from the fans.

The Albion No 19 posed for pictures with Golden Goals members and held a Q&A in which he talked about coming from Ireland to take up a professional career in football -  first with Blackburn Rovers before joining the Brewers for the first time on loan.

A Liverpool fans as a boy, O’Connor also revealed that Steven Gerrard is his footballing hero and that David Dunn was a major influence on his game whilst at Blackburn.
