BURTON Albion have given permission for Queens Park Rangers to interview Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The Championship club have been without a permanent manager since sacking Chris Ramsey on November 4 and are looking to appoint a successor who can help guide them back to the Premiership.
Hasselbaink has enjoyed a highly successful 12 months at the Pirelli Stadium, during which Burton Albion have been promoted from League Two as champions and rose to the top of League One with a 2-1 victory over Millwall last night.
Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson says: “QPR have approached us asking for permission to speak to Jimmy and we have agreed to that. He will be interviewed shortly for the vacant manager’s job.”
