BURTON Albion stopper Jon McLaughlin will be returning to Valley Parade for the first time since he left in 2014.
The Scottish-born ‘keeper left the Bantams at the end of his contract in 2014 to end a six-year spell with the Yorkshire club.McLaughlin said: “It will be nice to go back there.
“I was there for a long time and it will be strange to walk into the away dressing room.
“It will be nice to go back but they are a team in form at the moment and have had some very good results of late.
“We will have to take everything we've got there to get a result.”
The Bantams have enjoyed a good run of form of late but McLaughlin insists he will be focused on the game straight from kick-off.
“There isn't a lot of lads there from when I was there.
“There are only three of four but they were a great group of lads and I still have contact with some of them.
“Come three o'clock I'm focused on the game.
“I like to think when I was there we had a fair bit of success and I left the club in a good situation.
“It would be nice to get a good reception but I won't be worrying about that.”
