MANAGER'S VERDICT - DONCASTER

19 December 2015

BREWERS manager Nigel Clough said the 3-3 draw with Doncaster was a great advert for League One football

He said: "It was both teams trying to play the right way - chances at both ends, penalties and a penalty saved.

"We were a bit disappointed over the course of the game  that we didn't win it. It was good to get a point but we had enough chances to have won it today.

"We went behind to a goal out of nothng really. It was a brilliant finish. But Callum Butcher scored two good goals today - two cool finishes

"They changed formations went to a back four and got back into it. We can't give penalties and free kicks away like we did today.

"But it's evident there is great spirit here and we got the equaliser at the death. They might have thought they were comfortable but Mark Duffy curled one into the top corner."
