MOUSINHO PRAISES THE EXPERIENCE OF NIGEL CLOUGH

10 December 2015

NIGEL Clough has been in charge of the Brewers for nealy a week now as he took his first training session in his second spell on charge on Monday.

Burton Albion skipper John Mousinho says he has seen a positive reaction within the camp since the arrival of the former Derby and Sheffield United boss. He said "It's been really good. We have had a good reaction." Moose added "It is always interesting because the manager is feeling the players and how they do things and the players are doing the same.

"We have had a really good couple of days training and we have worked hard.

"Everyone has been honest and it is a great new challenge.

"You get to experience something different as there is always differences between managers."

Clough has gained seven years of higher division experience since leaving the Brewers in 2007 with Derby County in the Championship and Sheffield United in Sky Bet League One.

Mousinho said "Obviously the experience in the division is massive.

"The previous manager didn't have any [experience] but that didn't matter.

"In the new manager we have got someone who had had success here with Sheffield United.

"He knows the club really well and I think that will help, certainly from a scouting point of view, from recruiting too.

"He has had success here too and everyone is here to achieve something."
