BURTON Albion's Boxing Day trip to Bradford City has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and surrounding area safety issues.

Heavy rain overnight has taken its toll on Valley Parade and it’s outer areas.

There was a pitch inspection at 10.15AM this morning by the referee who decided the surface wasn't fit to play on and the surrounding areas weren’t safe for fans. 

A new date will be rearranged for this fixture.
