New signing Mickael Antoine-Curier has scored eight goals so far in the Scottish Premier League this season. Thanked God for helping him score goals and doing his job.
“I did score goals and thank God I managed to do my job, which is to score goals.” Anotine-Curier told us.
It seems as though the tall 31-year-old striker is an all-round team player. He told us that if he can’t get the goals, he wants to help him team mates out by assisting them.
“If I can’t score a goal on the weekend, I try to provide an assist for my team.”
He claims that he always tries to re-pay his team the favour of assisting him by assisting them back. With 11 assists so far this season, you can’t argue with what he says…
“My team mates are the ones that create the chances for me and I am the one that has to finish them off so it is good to give them something back with an assist.
“I try to be as effective as I can.”
More reaction from the new man will be on burtonalbionfc.co.uk tomorrow.
