The Brewers have now gone unbeaten in 10 games and have lost just once since Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink took over back in November. Stuart Beavon says that everybody is buzzing and the atmosphere is great around the club.
“Yeah it’s really good, the atmosphere is great around the club, everyone’s buzzing and we’re just looking to keep the run going.”
There are 17 games left of the season, with nine home games left. Hasselbaink has never lost at the Pirelli but Bev suggests that it is just a case of getting the results on the pitch.
“No not really, it’s early days now but obviously we’re top of the league. It’s just a case of keep going and getting results on the pitch and the table will take care of itself.”
The Pirelli hosts two games in a week, including the fixture tonight against AFC Wimbledon. Home seems to be a bit of a fortress now, and the attendances have begun to rise too.
“Yeah definitely, you obviously want to win your games at home and we’ve got a decent record and obviously you want to keep that.”
