Enjoy a roundup of the wheeling’s and dealings in the January transfer window

Stefan Maletic was the first signing of the January window for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. The tall defender joined on a free from Achilles 29' but the Brewers boss didn't stop there.

Scott Shearer joined the Brewers on loan until the end of the season. The 33-year-old shot stopper had played with coach Gavin Ward at Covenrty City so he was keen to work under Gavin at Burton.

The gaffer then went on to extend the loan of Jacob Blyth until the end of the season from Leicester City. The target man has netted five times so far this season, all of which have come away from home.

Abdenasser 'Nasser' El Khayati was next in line to join the Brewers. The 25-year-old forward has joined to add a different dimension to Hasselbaink's team as he comes in from Kossaken Boyz.

Derby County have loaned two players to the Brewers this transfer window. First was defensive midfielder Tom Naylor before being followed by Deadline Day signing Ivan Calero.

Meanwhile, Dominic Knowles has joined Kidderminster Harriers on loan until the end of the season. Dom departs the Brewers as boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink thinks it is important for him to get games and goals to his name.

Lee Bell joins Macclesfield Town on loan until the end of the season for his second spell with the club. Bell fell out of favour under the new Brewers boss and has found it difficult to get some game time. He joins the conference side who sit third in the table.
