BURTON Albion have today signed 23-year-old Tom Naylor from Derby County.
Tom joins the Brewers on loan from the Championship side until the end of the season.
Derby brought the young utility player from Mansfield Town back in 2012 after a successful loan spell with the Rams.
He then spent time with Bradford, Grimsby, Newport and Cambridge on loan.
The six-foot two defensive player has score three goals in his career.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said "We were a little bit light in that area (central midfield).
"Tom can also play at centre-half and he has played at full-back.
"But he will be here as a central midfielder. It might be we have to use him from time to time at centre-half, but that's not what we've brought him in for.
"We needed someone that knows the league and has played lots of matches in the league.
"He's someone who brings in good experience.
"It is a big chance for him (with his contract ending at Derby).
“That's why we've taken him as well.
"We might be able to offer him a contract for next year if he does well during his loan."
