Most recently they drew away to Sky Bet League 2 opponents in Northampton Town whilst also facing Shrewsbury Town on the same night with two split squads being displayed. The Shrewsbury game ended in a 2-0 victory.

The West Midlands side are expected to field a strong side with players such as Clayton Donaldson, Wesley Thomas, Jonathan Spector, Paul Caddis, Demarai Gray, Tomasz Kuszczak, Adam Legzdins, Jacques Maghoma all already featuring so far this pre-season.

Birmingham have now got five more pre-season games to play before they kick-off their Sky Bet Championship campaign whilst the Brewers have got two more, both of which will be played at home.

The Pirelli Stadium will be host to Leicester City on Tuesday 28th July, 7.30PM before welcoming Paul Clements’s Derby County side on Saturday 1st August, 3PM.

Tickets for the remaining pre-season friendlies cost just £13 adults, £7 16 & under in the seats whilst the terrace costs £10 adults and £5 16 & under.
