BIRMINGHAM City winger Mark Duffy will be joining Burton Albion on loan.

The former Doncaster Rovers player’s loan deal runs until January.

Duffy signed a two-year contract with Birmingham, now managed by former Burton Albion boss Gary Rowett, in June 2014 after leaving Doncaster.

He has struggled to get into the first team at the Championship side and instead was loaned to League One Chesterfield last season.

The 29-year-old has previously notched up more than 100 appearances for Scunthorpe.

Mark Duffy said "It's very good."

"I joined in with the lads today and the pace is good.

"You can see that they have been back for a few days, they all seem very fit.

"I am looking forward to it really."
