JIMMY Floyd Hasselbaink has brought in extra goal-keeping cover ready for the start of the League One season.
Norwich City academy graduate Remi Matthews has returned to the Pirelli Stadium on loan until January. The 21-year-old will be no stranger to the Burton Albion squad after coming in on loan when Hasselbaink first took charge of the Brewers last November.
Matthews has been a part of the Canaries youth set up from the age of 10 and signed a full scholarship in 2010.
He went on to sign a new two-year deal with the Canaries in the summer of 2014.
He was originally targeted by the Brewers to provide back up for Jon McLaughlin, with Dean Lyness still recovering from a broken leg.
After nine months out, Lyness finally made his return to action as Burton Albion beat Gresley FC 5-1 at the Moat Ground in the first pre-season friendly game this summer, which means Albion will have three stoppers fit and ready to go after bringing in Matthews.
