50 pairs of tickets to be won for raceday on July 26th

Burton Albion have 50 pairs of tickets to give away for a day at Uttoxeter Races on July 26th.

The club would like to apologise to supporters who have already tried to enter the competition for tickets without success. The problem was due to a faulty link with the FLI website with which we are contracted.

Anyone wishing to enter the competition for tickets should instead email with details of their unique ID off the new online ticketing system.

Winners should be notified after entries close on Friday 17th July.

Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and members of the first team squad will be enjoying the day out and will be bringing the League Two Trophy with them.

What promises to be a great day of racing will also help raise funds for Burton Albion Community Trust as well as providing fun for all the family.

The trust will be holding a bucket collection, bringing an inflatable for youngsters to enjoy and Billy Brewer will be on hand to make sure everyone has a smile on their faces.

Uttoxeter Racecourse is billing the July 26 event as a family fun day with great races for the grown-ups and plenty of entertainment for the kids including a live performance before racing from Only One Direction, 1D’s only cover band.

In the Centre Course there will be electric go karts, pony and funfair rides. You can also bring your own picnic.

The race card will have a Burton Albion theme and the community trust will be helping make sure that Brewers fans enjoy their day at the races.

The gates open at 12.30pm and the race action starts at 2.30pm.
